PE²
Personal Efficiency & Effectiveness
effortlessly.
Management is getting your team up the ladder and over the wall.
Leadership is placing the ladder against the right wall.
Nothing is as satisfying as completing something meaningful excellently. PE² helps you daily to determine against which wall your ladder should stand so that you and your team can overcome the right walls. Only then have you shown leadership.
PE²© is a philosophy, not a straitjacket. It is a method to do what needs to be done in the most efficient way possible and without having to invest hours, days, or weeks in setting it up—you get a flying start with that framework.
And from that start, the system begins to adapt to you, not the other way around.
SIMPLE, AND YET EFFECTIVE
PE² is not the squaring of the circle; it's no rocket science, not even higher mathematics.
It is simply (going back to) doing what we, humans, are good at: thinking.
Very often we have pushed ourselves into a downward spiral and are hopelessly searching for a way to break it.
Finally, breathing space in your schedule and to-do list.

ENDLESS TO-DO LISTS
But no progress
A disconnect has arisen between our objectives and the fulfillment of our daily task list. Very often because both are imposed from the outside.
You get the feeling that you are being “lived” (whether by your inbox); you seem to have less and less control over it.
If your task list doesn't grow every day, you still get the impression that it is completely slipping away.
THE DIGITAL PARADOX
Lett's week view was equally insufficient
The digitization of our time management system would take us leaps and bounds forward.
And what has digitization often only brought?
- more chaos
- less control
- unmanageable information silos
Digitization is obviously NOT translating the paper calendar from 1812 to its reflection on a screen.
THE LINEAR STRAITJACKET
Dare to think in systems
Our brains do not work linearly; why do we always force them into that straitjacket?
Everything is connected to everything—we need many-to-many connections (between tasks, projects, milestones, objectives, lists, ...).
The pressure to innovate is increasing, and as a result, we have less and less space to think creatively.
And thus to be innovative.
